The Agnes Dawson farm, located north of DeWitt, IL sold at auction 7/16/2011 at a high bid price of $9945 per acre.  The 166.06 acre farm consists of predominately Class "A" soils, and the sale included a small house, shed, and grain bin.  This farm had been farmed by the Dawson family since 1847, and owned by them since 1851.
